Zopet Club is operated by Rodney Beach ("we", "us"), who respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. By using Zopet Club you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored encrypted).
• Content you choose to share: owner and pet profiles, photos, posts, comments, likes, endorsements and messages.
• Private vault records you add, such as microchip numbers, vaccinations, medical notes, vet details and documents.
• Basic technical information needed to keep you signed in and the service secure.

2. How we use it

We use your information only to operate the network: showing your profile, enabling matches and messages, sending notifications, keeping the community safe and responding to you. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

3. Who can see what

• Pet profiles, photos and posts you publish are visible to other signed-in members.
• Private conversations open only after both owners connect (a mutual match).
• Vault records are private to you. Site administrators may access them only for safety, moderation or legal reasons.
• You decide what personal details you reveal to other members. Please don't post your address, phone number or other sensitive details publicly.

4. Disclosure

We only disclose information to trusted service providers who host and run the service for us, or where required by law, court order or to prevent harm to a person or animal.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored with a reputable cloud hosting provider and may be held on servers outside Australia. We use reasonable safeguards (encryption, access controls, private storage) but no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies

We use only the browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising trackers.

7. Your rights

You can view and edit most of your information in the app. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or close your account, by emailing rodneybeach@icloud.com. Some records may be kept where required by law or to resolve disputes.

8. Age

Zopet Club is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Complaints

Contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here, and continued use means you accept it.
