Zopet Club is operated by Rodney Beach ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Zopet Club you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and give accurate information about yourself and your pets.
2. You are responsible for your content
You are solely responsible for everything you post, comment, message, upload or endorse. Content reflects the views of the member who posted it, not Zopet Club. We do not pre-screen content and are not responsible for content posted by members. You keep ownership of your content but give us a licence to display it within the service.
3. Platform only
Zopet Club is a platform that helps pet owners find each other. We do not verify the identity, background or intentions of members, or the health, temperament, pedigree, vaccination status or ownership of any pet. Any information shared by members, including health claims, is their responsibility.
4. Meet-ups at your own risk
Walks, playdates, training, breeding, pet-sitting, adoptions and any other arrangements are made directly between members and are entirely at your own risk. Meet in public places first, check vaccinations, and use your own judgement. We are not a party to any agreement between members.
5. Acceptable use
- No harassment, hate, threats, scams, spam or illegal content.
- No animal cruelty, illegal breeding or sale of animals contrary to law.
- No sharing of other people's private information without consent.
- No impersonation or fake accounts.
Use the report and block tools if something is wrong. We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, at our discretion and without notice.
6. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rodney Beach (operator of Zopet Club) is not liable for any loss, injury, damage or claim arising from your use of the service, content posted by members, or interactions, meet-ups or arrangements between members or their pets. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded; where liability can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the service.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Rodney Beach (operator of Zopet Club) against any claims, losses or costs arising from your content, your conduct, your pets, or your breach of these Terms.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
